This month's meeting was Sally's workshop making a Recycled Garden Book. All manner of bits of paper were used to create the pages including paper bags, security envelopes, left over bits and pieces, anything that would normally go in the recycling bin. We made stickers with sellotape and used napkins and cling film to jazz up old book pages. We made patches with paper flowers and kneaded paper stitched to fabric scraps and then assembled everything onto a handmade book. It was a pretty full on day but we had great fun.
Production in progress!
A few pages from Sally's original...
...and some from the workshop
In other stitching news, Margaret has been trying out a new Zara Day course on maps and of course there's some stitching with Anne Brooke amongst other things.
